Why Longevity Matters to Me
My entry into longevity came from firsthand exposure to the realities of chronic illness. Working with patients under Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM), I saw individuals whose lives had become dependent on continuous oversight — tracking vital signs, CPAP usage, oxygen saturation, glucose, medication management, and more, every day. While RPM technology is invaluable, what struck me most was the underlying question:
"Why do we wait until patients are in this state before intervening?"
That question led me to longevity science. By addressing root causes earlier — through functional genomics, precision supplementation, metabolic optimization, and advanced therapeutics — we can dramatically reduce the burden of chronic disease, and extend the years people spend in good health. The Second Act

Year by year, the osteoarthritis crept in like an unwelcome opponent. The cartilage wore away until it was bone grinding against bone with every step. What started as manageable discomfort became constant pain. Standing through practice sessions became torture. Eventually, the simple act of walking to the sideline felt insurmountable.
At 52, Les P. retired from coaching—not by choice, but by necessity.
